We all have those seasons. The days when our hearts feel a little heavier than usual, and carrying ourselves through the daily rush takes every bit of energy we have.
That is exactly why the I AM SAD Burrito Foldable Tote Bag was crafted. I made this piece as a small reminder that sadness doesn’t always need to be hidden or rushed away. Some days, we just need something gentle nearby — something that quietly says: it’s okay to cry, and we don’t have to be strong all the time, a tactile reminder that it is completely okay to drop our guards and just feel.
This is more than just a handmade tote bag. The bag opens into a practical everyday tote and folds down into a compact burrito shape, making it easy to carry, store, or clip onto another bag when not in use.
The soft blue design carries Bubu Atelier’s emotional quote artwork:
“It’s okay to cry — you don’t have to be strong all the time.”
Made from cotton drill fabric, the weave has vertical, horizontal, and diagonal structure, giving the tote a stronger feel while still staying light enough to roll neatly into its burrito form. Inside, there’s a small inner pocket for pens, notes, cards, lip balm, or tiny essentials.
Each piece is handmade by me in a very small batch, so no two bags are exactly the same — just like the feelings we carry.
Before it leaves my little atelier, each bag is lightly scented as a small finishing touch — a gentle detail made to feel comforting when it arrives.

Material: 100% cotton drill fabric
Cotton drill has a structured weave that gives the bag shape and strength, while remaining lightweight and flexible enough to fold into its compact burrito form.
Size: Approx. 37 cm × 42 cm
Roomy enough for daily essentials, notebooks, small groceries, craft supplies, or little things to carry along.
Handle drop: Approx. 27 cm
Comfortable to carry by hand or over the shoulder.
Care instructions:
– Hand wash or machine wash in cold water only
– Do not tumble dry; hang dry only
– Do not iron directly on the printed design; place a cloth or paper between the iron and the fabric
– Do not bleach

Each bag is lightly scented before shipping. The scent is intentionally soft and may naturally fade over time.
