We all know those days. The days when our minds are completely full, our to-do lists feel endless, and our bodies are practically begging for just a single moment to breathe.
That is exactly why the I AM OVERWHELMED Burrito Foldable Tote Bag was born. This piece is meant to be a small reminder that we don’t have to solve everything all at once even when life keeps asking us to carry more. I originally designed this piece on an evening when life in Sydney felt a little too loud, searching for a gentle, physical reminder to help ground myself.
This is more than just a handmade tote bag. The bag opens into a roomy everyday tote and folds down into a comforting burrito shape, so it can be tucked into a bag, clipped onto a strap, or carried as a little reminder throughout the day.
The golden yellow design carries Bubu Atelier’s emotional quote artwork:
“Not everything needs to be solved right now.”
Crafted from cotton drill fabric with a structured weave — vertical, horizontal, and diagonal — it holds its shape while staying light enough to roll neatly. Inside, a small pocket holds pens, cards, lip balm, keys, or the tiny things that help us move through the day.
Each bag is handmade in a very small batch. No two are exactly the same, because handmade things are allowed to carry small differences — just like us.
Before it leaves my little atelier, each bag is lightly scented as a small finishing touch — a gentle detail made to feel comforting when it arrives.

Material: 100% cotton drill fabric
Cotton drill has a structured weave that gives the bag shape and strength, while remaining lightweight and flexible enough to fold into its compact burrito form.
Size: Approx. 37 cm × 42 cm
Roomy enough for daily essentials, notebooks, small groceries, craft supplies, or little things to carry along.
Handle drop: Approx. 27 cm
Comfortable to carry by hand or over the shoulder.
Care instructions:
– Hand wash or machine wash in cold water only
– Do not tumble dry; hang dry only
– Do not iron directly on the printed design; place a cloth or paper between the iron and the fabric
– Do not bleach
Scent note:
Each bag is lightly scented before shipping. The scent is intentionally soft and may naturally fade over time.
